Tumble dryers used to be seen as a luxury but with our wet summers in the UK are becoming more of a necessity! You can now get condensing dryers so you don't need to have a dedicated laundry room, you can pop one in a spare bedroom.  How else will you get those jeans dry for your night out?

So what is the difference between a vented and a condensing dryer?

Vented tumble dryers vent the warm air from the drum through a hose, which needs to be positioned by a window or external door.

Condensing tumble dryers cool the warm air from the drum inside the machine and the water is collected in a removable reservoir and can therefore be installed anywhere however you will need to regularly empty the water reservoir.
