At the beginning of September 2011 Ableworld will be opening its doors opposite Homecare in Valley Street, Darlington, offering caring solutions to their customers to give them greater independence and more comfortable lives. Ableworld is the largest mobility and stairlift retailer in the North West of England and are now branching out into the North East.

Just a few of the many products Ableworld will be supplying from their new Darlington showroom will be recliner chairs, bath lifts, boards and seats, beds and mattresses, powered chairs, scooters, and wheelchairs plus many accessories for improving customers independence around the home.

HOMECARE'S LARGEST EXPANSION PLANS COMPLETED - December 2004
After nine months of construction the extension to our building is now finished incorporating the Company’s new logo to complement the new modern styled building. Now complete the new look Homecare has attracted many positive comments from our customers.

Our new building has almost double the size of our current Bathroom department adding approximately 30 more bathroom suites and 25 shower enclosures on our 2nd floor. On the 1st floor the additional space has allowed Homecare to incorporate our Kitchen Appliance Department which used to be located on the East side of Valley Street.

We have also incorporated a Cafeteria on the first floor within our Appliance department with up to fifty seats to allow our customers to relax and enjoy their visit to Homecare.
